Luca De Simone aka PAN
I started my work as a craftsman in 2011, exploring the polymer clay. The clay is easy to adapt to differents techniques, such as sculpture, miniature, composition and “millefiori”. I can play with colours, and let them free to create astonishing optical drawings through the clay. My jewelry are original, colorful, durable and handy because very light... and maybe... bizarre and provocative.
In the last year I turned my attention to the materials I would like to match with the clay.
This led me to: reduce the use of allergenic metal bases; avoid where possible the contact between the skin and aggressive substances; greater attention to the creative reuse.
My future plans are geared toward increasing use of art to break the routine of the daily life, through the imagination of new items and new forms of artistic sharing. - Who are you?
