Abstract

I’m from a small island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Madeira Island known as the island of flowers. At home, my mother managed to immortalize all the flower bouquets from our family’s special events. I grew up seeing bouquets of dried flowers hanging on the wall of my house. My idea is to use these bouquets in a sculptural piece of clothing. Through Tyvek it is possible to show the delicacy of the branch after it dries (it looks like paper) and of course, in a sustainable way.
