Rafael Monge is a self-motivated, intellectually restless, goal-oriented person with a continuous learning growth sense, who was born in 1975 in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a pictorial town in Cádiz – Spain. There, he obtained a five years grade in Business Administration, one of his three remarkable degrees in education. After his first graduation, he worked for a diverse business sectors such as Agriculture, Hospitality and Banking. From 1997 to 2000 Rafael developed new professional experience within both Retail and Industrial Chemicals firms in Barcelona, and achieved an official certificate in the local language: Catalan. In 2000 he moved on Oxford - the UK, receiving four years later a Joint Honours degree in BSc Business Administration and Management & Computing. Meanwhile he expanded expertise and skills in business around Health Care, Education, and Marketing & Media. At early 2016, Rafael looked for new challenges and professional growth in Madrid, where he gained new experience as an IT Service consultant at IBM and engaged in promoting Diversity & Inclusion at work as a voluntary job.
In late 2012, Rafael moved forward the career into his hobby for Design, in which he could not only apply all knowledge, experience and skills achieved up to then, but also project a new professional growth as a competitive designer aware of the real, day-to-day user issues and needs in a large list of business fields. During studies, he received prizes and recognition from P&G, Bellota and Glenfiddich, and he was invited to show his designs at exhibition such as Producto Fresco and DMY Berlin. In 2016, he graduated in Home Product Design at IED Madrid, and since then, he has been developing some works in branding, product, interior and building maintenance design, as well as carrying on research for a proposal to improve local, sustainable agriculture and tourism business in Sanlúcar de Barrameda - Cádiz, where he currently lives. - Who are you?
