- Abstract
THE SHOPPING LAMP is the table lamp designed thinking about two distinctive signs of the diamond:
- the BRILLIANCE, a physical characteristic that makes it a unique material
- the SOCIAL PRESTIGE, a trait that has made the diamond an icon of luxury.
The light of the lamp represents the brilliance of the diamond. The “bag-shape” is a conceptual reference to the act of making shopping,so linked in our collective imaginary with the idea of a luxurious lifestyle.- Description
