- Abstract
This is Origo. The hourglass that renders time ephemeral, without permanent continuity, antithetically suffused with the foreverness of the diamond. Where sand stands for the limited duration of human life, abrasion and destruction, ashes-to-ashes, the diamond reminds that we are made of stardust instead of earth, that there is a light surpassing all things transitory, that there is a higher order to life that needs to be celebrated. The sands of time make way for the diamonds of eternity.
